About Dominika
Dominika Robe Popovska, originally from North Macedonia, is a passionate teacher and performer. She began her music journey at the age of 5 and has since won numerous competitions and festivals throughout her education. Dominika holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in piano performance from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius, where she graduated at the top of her class, achieving the highest mark of 10.
Dominika has over 10 years of teaching experience and has taught students of all ages and skill levels in schools and her private studio. She continued her education with Dr. Irena Kofman at Florida Atlantic University, where she earned her second Master’s degree in Piano Performance. Her students have received numerous awards and consistently earn top ratings in competitions and festivals.
In addition to teaching, Dominika has worked at the Faculty of Music in Skopje and the National Opera in North Macedonia as an accompanist and vocal coach. She is among the most sought-after accompanists in Florida, performing both solo and collaborative recitals, and has won several international awards. She was part of the prestigious “European Piano Reflections” project organized in five countries: Poland, France, Moldova, North Macedonia, and Austria.
Dominika has performed widely across the U.S. and Europe as a soloist and chamber musician, appearing in esteemed festivals like “Skopje Summer Festival,” “Ohrid Summer Festival,” “Autumn Music Gala,” “Bitola Summer Festival,” and “Days of Macedonian Music.” Her repertoire spans a broad range, from Baroque to Contemporary music, featured in both solo and chamber performances with various ensembles.
