Avis Yan obtained her Master’s Degree in Collaborative Piano under the guidance of Prof. Anita Pontremoli at the Cleveland Institute of Music. She also works with Dr. Peter Bennett of harpsichord study.

Avis holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hong Kong Baptist University, where she studied piano with Mr. Stephen Wong Wai Wing and harpsichord with Professor David Chung. In 2022, Avis served as a teaching assistant at the Brevard Music Festival. With over 7 years of experience, Avis has been providing private and group lessons in violin and piano to students ranging from 4 years old to the retirees.
